Megaman Creations!!!

Megaman Creations!

Finlay, after almost a year of nothing new being added, a new, massive project is under works. This will be by far the biggest project I have ever worked on, and if all goes well, one of the best yet!
First, the most important question, what is Megaman Creations? Simply put, it will be a massive Megaman map editing community. A website (address name still being thought up) will be made, where users will have two options, Play the game, or create a level. These levels will then be saved to the site for everyone to play, but it gets more detailed than this. The release date is still a bit off, but I do plan to post little parts of the engine as its made. Heres a few quick features.

- Ability to easily create Megaman levels using the flash map editor. Place tiles and enemies.

-The ability to save and publish levels for others to use.

-A "Play" mode that will change with new levels each time you start a new game (more info later)

-Will add and script many bosses for users to pick from (with user sprite submissions, the possibilities are endless).

-Great megaman 2 style gameplay! (best around, in honor of megaman 9!)

Overall News

Not much to say here. Work, School. Thats pretty much it. Been trying to work on many other projects but in order to do that... I need someone to make graphics for me (looks at ~headie).

Was planning on making a Fan based Phoenix write mini case game. Takening fan based stories and tunring them into quick mini games, however, with no artist, and now with the start of megaman creations, this idea will have to be put on hold.

Overall News

First I'd like to say ITS MY BIRTHDAY! W00t! FREE PIZZA!..... yeah anyway.
Starting to do all the college sign up papers and such, so thats a blast, but for some good news, I have a new game in the works, that used bad graphics to make it look good!!!, sound weird? well it should, cant wait to put up the demo, it should be a unique play, and it will be my 1000 views project I guess. As for the update I talked about last time with the new bleach sprites, ~headie is still working on them, and not sure where its going to go, but it should be neet to see in the end!



Voloxes News

Been adding more levels, and other neet features, should be up soon, but still has a lot of bug testing. Still dont have a character for the game, still not to get *muzzoid to do it lol.

Havnt had time to work on this game, I still need to upload the version I did modify with a better tutorail and some new blocks, Ill try to get this up this week.

Game Updates

Well there have been many things stopping me from working on new projects, such things as work, and the fact that I can not draw at all. luckily my great friend ~headie is going to help me with that by making some sprites. So it should be neet to see how that turns out.
The new game will be based on Bleach, it will either use the 2D platform engine that I made (that was removed due to copyrighted sprites -_-) or by a new style game... not sure on what tho... but keep checking back for updates on that...something should be started soon, as I would like to submit something for 1k page views.



Voloxes News

Nothing much new here, which is kind of sad to say. Well that is for DA. If you have been checking out [link] you may have noticed that there has been an update. A score system. You have a speed bar at the top of the screen, when its full, each block you go over will give you gold, which will be shown by a number that pops up over each block. It gives the game some flashyness, which is what voloxes is all about. I hope to have an update for DA soon with some new levels, and of course... as a lot of people have asked in notes, a built in level editor where you can play your levels right away.

This has already been update on my computer, and I just need to upload it. I have re-did the "how to play" with mini levels to teach you how to play. I have also made it easier to switch blocks, you no longer need to click the blue block first to switch it with a red. The best part, I have added 2 new blocks. The warp block, which flips the stage around when moved, and the colorize block, that changes the color of every block it goes over. I hope to have this uploaded within the week to come.

Well, I have been working on a very advanced 2d side scroller engine (much like the bleach one that was removed) however, I was trying to make my own sprite for it.. just.. a simple.. little..stick figure.. and I CANT EVEN DO THAT!!! he looks so stupid!! when he ran.. it was like... i duno... he was hald retarted or something.. was just horrible.. so I duno if ill ever be able to get that back up.. but this gives me a good reason to start work on my site again.

My flash work is going to be a little lacking for awhile, As I am now working on my first Nintendo DS game. Its more text than anything (and a lot of clicking with the touch screen) but I am learning, and its a lot of fun (tho sometimes annoying to work with, it has very little ram.) anyway, I should be getting cs3 soon.. maybe.. then ill start messing with AS3 and be able to get some more advanced flash items coming out soon as well.
